Village Halloween Parade traffic guide


As ghosts and goblins flood Manhattan for the Village Halloween Parade on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, motorists will have a tough time navigating various street closures.

The annual parade attracts about 2 million spectators who crane their necks to catch a glimpse of the costumed revelry. Floats, costumed characters and plenty of puppets will make their way up Sixth Avenue between Spring and 16th streets, beginning at 7 p.m.

Formation:

6th Avenue between Spring and Canal streets

Dominic Street between Varick Street and 6th Avenue

Sullivan Street between 6th Avenue and Spring Street

Broome Street between Sullivan and Varick streets

Spring Street between Varick Street and 6th Avenue

Route: 6th Avenue between Spring and W. 16th streets

Dispersal:

West 16th Street between 5th and 7th avenues 

West 17th Street between 5th and 7th avenues

West 18th Street between 5th and 7th avenues

6th Avenue between West 16th and West 18th streets

Closure: Same as location
