Here's how the swing states voted


Swing states will determine whether Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will become the next president. The pre-election polls in these states have often gone back and forth and been too close to know who will win.

In the 2016 election, the key battleground states included Florida, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina.
