PanARMENIAN.Net - Two of David Bowie's final ever recordings have been revealed, NME reports.

Three of Bowie's last studio recordings feature on a new album of songs from his Lazarus musical. Two of them have aired on British radio.

The stage show, which opened in New York late last year, is based on Bowie's 1976 film The Man Who Fell To Earth, which saw the musician playing the character of an alcoholic alien called Thomas Newton.

The show, co-written with Irish playwright Enda Walsh and directed by Belgian director Ivo van Hove, stars Dexter and Six Feet Under actor Michael C Hall. It will now run at the Kings Cross Theatre in London from October 25, 2016 to January 21, 2017.

The 2CD/3LP 'Lazarus Cast Album' will be released later this week October 21 via ISO/RCA Records. It will include three final Bowie studio recordings ('No Plan', 'Killing A Little Time' and 'When I Met You') as well as the 'Blackstar' recording of 'Lazarus'. The record will also feature cast versions of classic Bowie songs.
