Thousands of New Yorkers are planning to protest the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The demonstration will start in Union Square at 11 a.m. and participants will march to Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue and 56th Street.
“Marching to the doorsteps of this tower to promote the advancement of equality and human rights for all women, minorities, and immigrants sends a clear message to the incoming cabinet that we are watching,” organizers wrote on the event's Facebook page.
Over 13,000 people have said they are interested in the event and over 3,000 said they are planning to attend.
Thousands have already participated in protests the days after the election against the policies Trump promoted throughout his campaign.
